When Twilight first came out (specifically after Matt had been forced to watch it four times, for the children), Jer wrote a script for an “X Ways to Y” video, comparing real, actual, good vampires with the glittery douchebags in Twilight.
We never got around to shooting it in good time, and if you’re going to reference current pop culture, it needs to be just that… current. So when Jer read out the script on that week’s LRRcast, forum member King Kool took it upon himself to do up this awesome version of it. Animated, no less!

This is extremely clever and funny. That said, you want to be careful as some twilight fans (the *bad* ones) are not above murder of people who make even the slightest bit of fun about Twilight. It’s kind of funny to encounter them actually. As long as they’re unarmed.

hehehe. This reminds me of something I heard from a friend about a crazy Twilight fangirl. Apparently during a science class in school this chick threw acid into some guy’s face because he was dissing Twilight. Sad but hilarious I thought.

Will there be a podcast feed for the Runners?
We don’t have a Runners podcast planned at the moment, but I wouldn’t rule it out as an eventual possibility. The main question is what kind of content it would contain that couldn’t go in the regular LRRcast.
Maybe the Runners podcast could be like the community profiles. That could be cool.
